    This event will build on the advances made during the first two European Space Weather Weeks held at ESA/ESTEC in 2004 and 2005. The workshop will again adopt the central aim of bringing together diverse communities working on all elements of space weather. The meeting will centre on eight open sessions which address a number of topical themes:

      Session 1:   Hot topics in space weather science and applications
      Session 2:   Space Weather Modelling: from science to applications
      Session 3:   Virtual Observatories, Data Bases and new Tools
      Session 4:   GIOVE-A and Galileo: Effects and Applications
      Session 5:   Methods used in Meteorology Applied to Space Weather
      Session 6:   Science underpinning Space Weather
      Session 7:   Space Weather Challenges for Planetary Exploration
      Session 8:   Agencies Activities, I*Y and Programmatic
